I have recently finished the Young Learners teachers development course. My experience with Oxford TEFL was amazing, the processes were easy and they answered many of my questions. The attachment below contains a selection of autobiographical stories from current and former residents of Oxford Houses. These recovering individuals share their stories in order to help others afflicted by alcoholism and drug addiction to understand the hope and support afforded by Oxford House. Fulfilling these contracts is another way of teaching residents how to set specific goals and meet them. I have just finished Teaching IELTS course online, and I feel motivated now to teach IELTS. The materials are very valuable, it gives me a deep insight of everything related to teaching IELTS. The tutor, Tim Brown, is very knowledgeable and supportive.

Each house conducts its own interviews and votes on admitting new members. We quickly looked into a national oxford house data set and examined how the number of residents in Oxford House affected residents’ individual outlooks for recovery. We found that larger house sizes of 8 to 10 residents corresponded with less criminal and aggressive behavior. Over $9,500 per Oxford House member is saved through lack of incarceration and improved productivity.
I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to participate in this course. The CELTA I took here in 2020 was a wonderful experience for me, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Oxford TEFL to anyone who’s considering taking it on. Self-run, Self-supported Recovery Houses
The major barrier to creation of Sober Houses is the lack of start-up funding. Most Oxford Houses exist in states where the state or locality contracts with Oxford House to provide funding for outreach workers and a start up loan fund. Such organizations as NAMI Kenosha and Hope Council on Alcohol & Other Drug Abuse have made it possible for the Kenosha Oxford Houses to open without state or locality contracts. These organizations have provided invaluable assistance to those individuals who credit their recovery to their experiences as residents of Kenosha Oxford Houses. Ouimette PC, Moos RH, Finney JW. It’s very practical and useful, I got lots of tips and information that can be put to use in the classroom. I recently completed the Teach Business English course.
